This Lush Little Meadow
The efflorescent sanctuary celebrated in This Lush Little Meadow is now buried under the brand-new blight of overpriced “luxury” student apartments. Logan & Chamberlain is just one more hellscape of the same unimaginative rectangles in the same mix of materials in the same nauseating palette in the same dumbfounding disorder. True trash.
“Cultivate the lifestyle you've been dreaming of.”1
This Lush Little Meadow is Critter’s poetic meditation on a field bursting with springstars. Their evanescent blooms are preserved in twelve black-and-white photographs. The book catalogs the first instance of their enlargement as a series of twelve giclée prints. Sequentially, the titles compose a poem in three parts, memories from the meadow. Each book includes a tipped-in reproduction of a pressed spring starflower from a first edition copy.
